Dr. Mark Groven, a Washington State native, attended Central Washington University before graduating from Bastyr University in 1991 with his doctorate in naturopathic medicine. Upon graduation he joined the faculty at Bastyr University and went on to complete a post graduate residency program in physical medicine. In 1993 Dr. Groven accepted a position as the Department Chair of Physical Medicine for Bastyr University. In 1995 he became the Physical Medicine Department Supervisor for The Bastyr Center for Natural Health Outpatient Clinic. In 2005 Dr. Groven joined the team at Graham Rehabilitation and Wellness Center to pursue private practice full time. Dr. Groven presents his work and shares his expertise regularly at the national convention for naturopathic medicine. He authored a chapter in the Textbook of Natural Medicine on hydrotherapy and is considered an expert by his peers on this subject.
Dr. Groven is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the International Society of Medical Hydrology and Climatology.
Dr. Groven resides in Kirkland and he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He stays active in many outdoor activities and is an avid golfer. Dr. Groven has an appreciation for the arts and enjoys music and watercolor painting.
